Big news in the off-road industry was announced earlier today with Fox Factory and Brenthel Industries. Fox Factory and Brenthel Industries have a new partnership, but Fox Factory has purchased the rights to manufacture and distribute Baja Kits suspension products.
“We have entered into a strategic partnership with Fox Factory, Jordan and myself will continue to bring new products to market and stay focused on the Design, Prototype, Marketing and of course Test Test Test these products in the harshest terrains possible like Baja and Johnson Valley,” Jonathan Brenthel said. “Fox will help by bringing that product to scale with a massive distribution network, having the product on the shelf and available.”
Brenthel released a statement on the transaction:
Fox was the fit we’ve been looking for growth and future opportunity. We were amazed at their engineering and production capabilities. The alignment was just right, having the same history as Brenthel Industries with early beginnings in Offroad Racing. Together we have incredible new projects on the horizon that truly enhance the off-road experience and we cannot wait to share them with the industry!
This was a smart move because it lets us focus on what we do best, using our off-road experience and ideas to design the best products for Baja Kits. FOX Factory, who have an amazing team and manufacturing facilities, will then turn those ideas into reality and deliver the volume of production that can keep up with the demand for Baja Kits.
While we can’t tell you to much yet, we can say that we’ve been putting our years of off-road development to good use collaborating with FOX Factory on some game changing vehicles and products. We’ve been blown away by the performance and capability that can be achieved when you combine world class technology and innovation with years of experience playing in the dirt!
In addition to this news, Brenthel Industries is building a driving school in Johnson Valley, California, with a dedicated fleet of Fox-equipped 6100-spec class trucks. Brenthel will teach you everything you need to know and then let you loose for the drive of your life on some of the most iconic trails known to off-road racing.
