Polaris Owns San Felipe Again with Third Straight Overall Win and Full Podium Sweep

Polaris continues to set the standard in desert UTV racing after another commanding performance at the 2026 San Felipe 250. The Polaris RZR Factory Racing team captured its third consecutive overall victory at the iconic event while sweeping the podium in dominant fashion.

Leading the charge was Brock Heger, who delivered a calculated and relentless drive to secure back-to-back San Felipe 250 wins. Starting eighth off the line, Heger worked through the field with patience and precision, proving once again why he is one of the most dangerous drivers in off-road racing.

Heger Charges from Eighth to First

The San Felipe 250 is never easy. Known for brutal whoops, jagged rock sections, and high-speed dry lake beds, the 281-mile course punishes mistakes and exposes weaknesses fast.

That did not matter for Heger or the Polaris RZR Pro R Factory.

Rather than forcing the issue early, Heger stayed disciplined, picked smart lines, and let the machine do the work. By the finish, he had built a gap of several minutes over the competition and crossed the line as the overall winner.

After the race, Heger credited both patience and preparation.

“Today my Polaris RZR Pro R Factory performed flawlessly, and it feels amazing to go back-to-back at San Felipe.”

Behind Heger, first-year factory driver Joe Terrana delivered a breakout performance to finish second overall and earn his first podium with the team.

Terrana stayed clean and consistent through one of the roughest races on the calendar, showing the composure needed to run at the front in Baja competition.

Rounding out the sweep was Dallas Gonzalez Jr., who finished third overall in an impressive debut. Gonzalez had only seven days to receive and prep a brand-new race machine, with just 20 miles of shakedown time before race day.

That makes the podium finish even more impressive.

Why This Win Matters

A 1-2-3 finish at San Felipe is not luck. It is the result of speed, durability, and a deep racing program built to win in the harshest terrain.

The Polaris RZR Pro R Factory once again proved it can handle punishment while maintaining race-winning pace. Just as important, Polaris showed the depth of its roster with multiple drivers capable of winning.

Three straight overall victories at San Felipe now firmly place Polaris at the top of the UTV desert racing world.

Eyes on the Baja 500

With momentum on their side, the Polaris factory team now turns its attention to the next major challenge, the Baja 500 on June 3-7.

If San Felipe was any indication, the rest of the field has work to do. Polaris is not just winning right now. They are dominating.
