The company has introduced new Fully Hidden Kit winch mounts designed to work exclusively with the compact ZEON XC 12-S short drum winch, creating a powerful setup that preserves factory styling.
This new system allows owners to mount a 12,000 pound capacity WARN winch behind the factory bumper, eliminating the need for bulky aftermarket bumpers while still delivering full recovery performance.
Factory Look With Real Recovery Capability
The Fully Hidden Kit winch mounts are engineered to reuse the vehicle’s factory bumper while hiding the winch behind it. The result is a clean, OEM style appearance with minimal visual changes to the front of the vehicle.
Despite the compact design, these mounts are built for serious use. They are lightweight yet pull tested to 12,000 pounds and finished with a durable powder coat that meets 408 hour salt spray testing standards. Because the mount is significantly lighter than traditional winch bumpers, there is no need to compensate for heavy front end weight with suspension changes.
Another major advantage is compatibility with modern vehicle technology. The Fully Hidden Kit is designed not to interfere with parking sensors, cameras, or radar cruise control systems, making it a practical solution for newer trucks and SUVs.
Compact ZEON XC 12-S Built Specifically for Hidden Mounting
To pair with the new mount, Warn developed the ZEON XC 12-S For Fully Hidden Kit winch. This compact version of the ZEON XC 12-S delivers the same 12,000 pound pulling capacity but in a smaller footprint designed for tight mounting locations.
The winch is 2.5 inches narrower than the standard ZEON XC 12-S and features a low profile control box to reduce overall height. It uses a short drum configuration with 70 feet of 3/8 inch Spydura synthetic rope wrapped around a large diameter one piece drum.
Warn also rotated the transmission 144 degrees to improve clutch lever access when mounted behind the bumper. A seven foot remote socket extension harness is included so the plug can be relocated to an easy to reach location. The system also includes a shortened hawse style fairlead.
Full ZEON Performance in a Smaller Package
Even with the compact size, the ZEON XC 12-S For Fully Hidden Kit retains the performance features of the standard ZEON lineup. It includes a high efficiency motor with fast line speeds, IP68 and IP69K waterproofing, and corrosion resistant hardware.
Additional features include a thru drum rope anchor system, automatic load holding cone brake, three stage planetary gear train, and Albright contactor for improved reliability. The winch also comes with a rugged corded remote with a 12 foot lead.
The ZEON XC 12-S For Fully Hidden Kit is designed, engineered, tested, and assembled in Clackamas, Oregon. It is backed by a limited lifetime mechanical warranty and seven year electrical warranty.
